Learn the game by using it

You do not need to memorize the rules before you can make good decisions

A character sheet contains more information than most players need at any one moment. PC 101 teaches you how to navigate that information and turn it into practical choices at the table.

The series is designed for new players, returning players, and anyone joining a campaign above first level. Each lesson isolates one useful skill, explains why it matters, and gives you something concrete to practice before or during play.

The goal is not rules mastery for its own sake. The goal is knowing what your character can do, where to verify the details, and how to choose an action while the game is moving.

Beyond the mechanics

A good player contributes more than correct rules

Character knowledge matters, but healthy campaigns also depend on participation, shared spotlight, curiosity, and the willingness to let failure change the story.

These five practical habits help players reduce friction for the GM while creating more room for everyone at the table.
